such luck for jer to have found that phrase out of all the words in the english language. i mean he could have just as easily saw gonorrhea instead. what a cool name, the coolest of all frisco bands.

good point, it could have been anything, i mean, imagine if Jerry had of landed his finger on The Furies ... we'd be Fury Heads or something, lol

I have a reading list too long to read up on this one just now, but the Idea of studying a phenomenon such as this cross culturally and getting it published by 1908 sounds pretty progressive to me...
